The only birding I have been doing lately is looking at old files. Since I had some time I decided to work on this image. This was taken in Costa Rica. There was a lot of cloning out obstructions below the perch and some leaves as well. This image exceeded what I would normally do in altering an image but it was good practice. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Quite excellent and nice job on the clean-up. Love the bird, that killer tail, and the veggies lower right add a nice touch. Would love to see the pre-clean-up version.

Wow!!! That is one amazing clean-up job. But the end result is well worth it from where I sit.

That is an amazing post-processing job!! I don't think it would have crossed my mind to even try removing that FG branch (I'm not patient enough on the PP side of things). Did you borrow some parts from another image? In any case the end result is very nice...

Thanks for the kind comment Daniel. There were no parts borrowed from another image. I was patient because I have nothing new coming in.

Hi Jim, fantastic pp work which has resulted in a great finished image. Another colourful species from you, and I like the pose and soft BG.
