    Has been a while since i last posted down here but hope to be posting some more again from now on. Have been on a trip to Australia recently and here's one of the Parrots i came across down there thanks to a tip from fellow BPN member and friend Jan Wegener..(so thanks Jan!)

    I love the look back and the view of the tail. The bird appears sharp and well exposed. I like the green on green presentation. Thanks for sharing.

    Good to see you and your image back :). Superb on all counts. Love the BKGR, the face and bill, and the details in the rump. Love the details in the back and rump feathers. Just a tad short on d-of for the tail.

    Wow. Strikingly green image the likes of which I've not seen before. The longer I stare at the image, the more pleasing brown can be seen.

    Thank you for your comments so far and as for the DOF i have to agree with you Arthur. I have tried to increase the DOF with a little PS work here..

    Stunning portrait of this beauty my freind! Agree about the tail but it is not a deal breaker at all. Prefer the original with no PP work.

    The first version posted works better IMHO

    Excellent head turn to compliment the details and color.
