    This is the second wave of migratory birds heading through Santa Fe. Its amazing the memory they have -I put in a small pond (2 foot diameter) last year. Not only do they remember it -they remember me since they would land on my hat if I stopped working long enough. Or maybe they see me as a big nut!

    There is much to like about the bird portion of the image, Gary, but I find the background very distracting and that really detracts from the overall effect here - in my view.

    Nice pose and eye contact. I agree on the busy BG and it seems to have a blue cast.
