    Mital:

This is a very good image, with perfect wing down pose, excellent angle in frame, sharp, well exposed.

The closeness to the water and reflection add some real depth to the image, which is often missing in flying shots.

The only minor thing to consider is a sliver more room on the right.

    Well done.

    cheers

One heck of a shot, Mital. the low angle combined with the low eye-level flight path make the biggest difference here. perfectly exposed and terrific wing position. Well done....not an easy one.

Super image Mital! I like the low flight with reflection, wings down with nice detail. Very nice. The only thing I wonder about is the tip of the beak has a black blur around it and I am not sure if that is a natural part of the beak or something else - it looks odd to me.

Fabulous flight shot of this iconic bird. I agree the reflection adds to it. Well done (as usual); thanks for sharing.

Killer wings down pose with a great sharp look at the upper surface of the near wing. I shall bust you for a bit of bad luck: while the bird is angling perfectly toward us the head is turned fractionally away from us..... If only the head had been on straight. Still a killer image. I will be posting a similar crane image on the blog soon..... Just bad luck as you did everything perfectly.

First of all thanks for the compliments Dan.
The pinch of black on tip is all the way a natural part of the goose on adults. Initially i had the same thought as you cant really see em when you watching them at distance. later from guides and books i discovered it was natural so kept it.

Excellent capture. Lovely light & perfect wing position. What a great IQ with 2X TC! Also like the wave reflection under the far wing. TFS

You did fantastically well and there was nothing you could have done. Unless you learn to imitate the duck's call....
