Hi Vivaldo, looks like you had enough SS so again, I would like to have seen more DOF on this one. Although I am not a great lover of a square crops, this might work, tightening up the image and perhaps it might also engage that eye more. Colour looks good and no need to lift anything on the faces. Interesting mark on the ear in the FG.
Is this another from the early days?

I unfortunately cannot find a excuses this time Steve,

I never noticed the mark on the ear, it is wierd, looks like a shadow.
No need for any excuses Vivaldo,
curious though the mark isn't it, I don't think it's a shadow, looks more like 'a mark', as there seems to be a hint on the other one too.

Ken I replied to Steve PM. He tried using a square crop which actually works nicely

Vivaldo,
So that explains everything, it might have been useful to everybody if Steve had posted his repost, then we may have been able to judge the outcome.
I hope you are happy with my explanation of the ear colouration, it is certainly not a "fault" in the image.

Thanks for explanation on ear colouration Ken, I realized that but have never noticed this before, it's a first to me
-
Vivaldo, liked the image a lot. Would like to see Steves's post too.
Thanks for sharing.

Vivaldo,
Thanks for posting this, but for me it is nowhere as good as the OP, much too tight

Dramatic moment and good low angle here...a buffalo calf I presume?
I don't mind either crop - both work for me in different ways.
