    Hi Dan, you have brought out the different colours on the head exceptionally well. The Buffelhead pops very well from the darker BG. The two droplets on the tail add a nice touch. Comp wise, I would take a bit off the top and bottom.

    Dan:

    Good input from Stuart, and I certainly agree about the nice display of colors in the head, and with his cropping suggestions.

    Wish I could see a little more detail in the darks on the back. The lighting angle makes the picture dramatic, but does obscure some of the details.

    I am amazed you have been able to get in this close to these elusive guys. Great work!

    Nice details, especially on the head. Colours and the exposure on the white is perfect, Dan. I would go for a tighter crop if it were mine.

    The little bird looks nice and relaxed and unaware of his photo being taken. Well done. I like the pose and colors. I am also for the suggested crops.
