under the topic "other stuff": in Chicago this past weekend and got this shot. Am wondering if the whites are too blown or not. Or, other comments. thanks. (also, any suggestions for noise reduction software for a Mac/photoshop?)
Hazel, I think the whites are a little iffy on some of the pigeons but it's a minor thing IMO because it is the child that is the focus of the image. And, OMG, do I love that hat!
Adorable photo, Hazel, and that monkey hat is too cute! The whites look a little blown, though I don't think it terribly affects the image. If you shot this in raw, you might be able to pull them back.
As to your question about noise reduction software, I'm afraid I can't help you there because I'm not a Mac user, but you might want to try asking in the Digital Photography Workflow forum.
Cool pose, expression and I think I've seen a hat like that here at school!!
If you are running Photoshop on a Mac, you might try the NR in Camera Raw... you can still work on a JPEG there. Right click and open in Camera Raw.
