Very cool looking portrait, great expression captured, Mitch, and like the POV. The sunglasses add to the cool toughness. I don't think you want to get in a shoot-out with this cowgirl! Nice color and the Simplify & Adjust treatment works really well.

Very nice portrait, Mitch. I love her expression and those hands - wow. There's a little bit of a halo right around her, perhaps you could clone in some of the background pattern there?

Cool portrait! I love the bright colors and the processing looks great! I agree that fixing the halo would put it over the top.

This is a memorable image, Mitch. Really nicely done starting with the capture. The composition and processing are both great. I think the colors are just right.

Mitch, She looks nice but I bet she could be tough as nails! Halo noted. I like the processing you chose. Great image for the theme.

Man she looks tough! Do agree about the halo but should be an easy tweak!

This is indeed one serious cowgirl - lots of grit and character coming through! The red and blue make a colorful contrast. I also agree about the halo.

Hey Mitch, I wouldn't want to be on bad side of her. Like the looking down pose. Well framed. Her face tells it all..................

Yes, she is tough in some ways, and has to be (She sleeps with a six gun under her pillow or so she says... ), but also a real sweetie. She knows the names of most of her longhorns!

Here is another, softer portrait at the screen door.

    Nancy,

From your recent posts it sounds like You, Ollie, and Charlie also have a surplus of grit.
Please see repost for her softer side.
