Lovely. Although I think I preferred the wing position in yesterday's post, this one has a great takeoff pose, and the head looks sharper. Love the trailing water drops, and excellent light and BG.

Mital, much better than yesterday, I think...sharp, nice water trail, perfect bird, light and shooting angles. Well done. Ducks aren't easy to photograph in India.

KD Well said and i bet it is not easy task at all to get them in range. Always been my teacher for understanding flight shooting as every time they behave differently here.

Nice pose, BG, composition. Appealing soft colours too. I could do without the single drop above the wing though.

Mital this one is better than the one you posted last time...wonderful soft light and this one is sharp and nice...I tried to photograph these ducks on my last couple of shoots and know how difficult it is to get decent shots in flight....

The frame really captures the essence of lift-off; very dynamic. Sharpness is perfect, and the sense of pond habitat is good without being visually intrusive. Wing position, while not my favorite, works well.
