Another one from foggy morning! Taken on manual mode, metering of the foggy sky... for processing, used ACR (adjusting the blacks) followed by Topaz Adjust, adjustment layer of selective colors and sharpening the eye. Hope you like it...

Nice pose, Indranil. I like the subdued feel with the foggy sky. I think I would prefer it if the near wing was less blurred. I also might bring up the whites a little bit on the bird so that it stands out more against the sky.

I really like this. The range of tones in the shadows and the contrast between them and the head and near wing are outstanding. The composition is very good, as well. I expect the look of the image is a good portrayal of what you saw. It feels very quiet and relaxing to me. I love to watch egrets in the air.

This is really nice, Indranil. I agree about brightening the whites just a little, but I like the amount of wing blur you have here.

Indranil, Very nice white on white. I like the details and painterly look to this. I'm not crazy about the front wing position but I do like the far one very much.

    Indranil,

I would not have thought that a white bird against a white (light gray) sky could work so well., but it does. Beautiful, subtle pic!

    Hey Indranil,
This has a very strong mood to it so works very well for me!

Indranil, nice white on white look for this image. Agree on perhaps brightening the whites a little.
