    Stuat,
You nailed this one. Great colors and details. Excellent IQ and I like the comp. Well done,

Stuart, tack, tack sharp, and I like the pose and attentive stare. Comp wise, I feel a landscape crop would work better with the pose. Something along the lines of this. Maybe showing a touch more of the Heron on the right will also improve the overall comp. I extended the BG on the LHS.

Super image, lovely quality. I am struggling where to go with the crop I like the original but I also like Stuart's interpretation, I like both, but if you went horizontal I think would like to see the bottom few long feathers at the base of the neck.

Stuart, nice details and exposure. I agree that horizontal will look better. You should be very careful while sharpening GBH feathers...they tend to look oversharpened very quickly. I think that is what has happened here..

Lovely pose and very sharp. Good tip by Kaustubh. I had not realized that. The origibal comp. seems to have abit too much room on top and taking some off would leave it kind of squarish. I think it would good as is if head were just a bit higher in frame. Very well done.

Wonderful image which is improved by the landscape crop. Great detail in this.

Excellent feather details & sharpness. Nice HA. Like Stuart's rework with horizontal crop.
