Thought I would take a break from low angle Cheetah for some Hippo instead.

Taken at the Kwara hippo pool.

    Thanks, Ken.

Hippo Pool is not far from Camp. It is on the edge of Kwara flood plain as you join Xugana Main Road. The guys will know where to take you.

Super light, low angle and overall IQ here Russel...
If I were to nit-pick I would say I would have liked a sliver more space on the LHS...

Love the golden light and action. The low angle take this image to another level but would have loved more room around the image, feel it slighty tight. Still a fantastic shot TFS

The low angle makes this shot! I like the water droplets and the position of the hippo in the frame. Agree about a bit more room on right but certainly not a deal breaker,

It's a neat looking lens Russell, but weight has still TBC as I saw/handled it a little while back. I think you have still time to save as a release date is also TBC along with the price tag. Certainly would give you flexibility on a subject like this, also a different way of shooting too.

Lovely image, beautifully timed. I too would vote for a little more space around.

The price tag will probably be off putting.

It is likely I will rent for a safari first to see how it goes.
