    The Brown Falcon occurs Australia wide and into Papua New Guinea. It varies in colour throughout its range and the darker phases can be confused with the Black Falcon, however it would be a common sighting on visiting most areas in Australia. Birds in Backyards' Fact Sheet at :

    Grat detail. I like the way the wing and tail feathers cross making a cool design. I like the perch as well.

    Rod, good DOF, look back pose, sharp, and the feather detail that you have captured is superb. I do like your comp too.
