    Default flying Scarlet Macaw- or it started that way

    Hi again. It has been a while. This was a flying Scarlet Macaw, taken in a farmyard standing next to Artie many years ago. I was wide enough to get the whole bird in the shot. It was processed with liquify and then the ppi was reduced to create the pixillation. The funny thing is that this image sold while the original flying macaw did not.

    Fascinating composition, Steve! Now that I know it is a macaw, I can visualize the colors and the resemblance For me, it is the zigzag trail and sense of motion that makes this image fascinating. I do see a bit of artifacts perhaps from jpeg conversion. Outstanding creativity and TFS!

    It's probably just supply and demand. While there are many images of macaws, it's very unusual to see one like this.

    The whole image is fun, but the pixelation really was a great idea. Nice work.
