    Default Young Elephant Seals

having taken and seen too many of the usual elephant seal images, I looked for something less typical. I think this is one which qualifies. Two juveniles playing when one arched its back. I will be gone for two weeks but will post a few more. They are amazing animals. In this trip. I took my 300f4 and a 1.4x instead of the larger and more restrictive 500. I think it paid off with sharpness and a more flexible approach to shooting. I will be taking the lighter set up more often.

    Hi Steve,
I really like the interaction and the arched back and raised tail. Very unusual. Would have liked a lower angle.
I would clone out the bit of ?water to the right of the seal.It is quite bright and I find my eye is drawn to it.

Great light, poses and texture/detail on them, Steve! I too would have liked a lower angle but am unsure about the shooting conditions?
