    This was one of two Hyenas that came upon this buffalo that had been killed by a female and two young adult males earlier in the morning.
    Would have liked a little more lower room.

    D3s 500VR 1/2500s f/5.6 ISO800 F/F. Chichele salt pan, Nth Nsefu sector, Sth Luangwa NP Nov 2011.

    A very compelling image and a good title. Like the position of the buffalo's head and the open eye which contrasts well with the almost closed eye of the hyena. I agree re:more room on the bottom but still an excellent image.Well done,

    I should add that it was 3 lions (not Hyena) that initially made this kill.
