    Default Playful Cub

Following on from my previous image, interested to hear your thoughts on this imaged. When our new kitten has not been attacking the cursor, I have been back and forth on how much of the shadows to open up.

The cub, which I was taking portraits of, suddenly decided to pounce on a sibling. Alas, I would have preferred this in landscape format, but I quite like the inclusion of the sky and tree that appears to mirror the curves on the cheetah's back.

Great pose, really capturing some nice behaviour here Russell, shadow detail looks good on the cub, might just reduce some of the highlights a tad in the tree & sky BG for mine.
Would have loved to see this framed in landscape also.

Oh,how I wish this was a landscape view. great pose and cuteness factor adds tremendously to this image. I am on my IPad right now so I may be wrong but I see a bit of a red cast.
a lovely picture and would be glad to have this as my own,

    Russell,

Well at least you got it all in I like the sky, perhaps just add a little canvas to RHS?

I am again seeing a slight blue cast (recalibrated this morning)

Nice action Russell, just watch the Yellow and Red coming through, especially in the coat, if you get the balance right there, and punch up your colour the image has a really nice vibrance to it.

Cannot do anything but echo what's been said already, Russel .

    1. I like that you captured everything.
    2. I would have liked to see the "landscape" version, if only for comparison.
    3. I like the sky and tree too as per your initial comments.
    4. I agree with toning down the red and yellow in the cub's coat.
    5. LOVE the angle...
