Known locally as Jesus Christ lizards, as they can walk on water. There's a lot of interesting mythology about them. This one was at Tortugero National Park, Costa Rica, November, photographed from a boat.

    D7000, 300 f/4 AF-S + 1.4TC. Hand-held. ISO 800. 1/500, f/5.6.

    Thanks for looking.

What a cool looking Lizard, superb detail... maybe try darken the BG to make the Lizard pop more, lets see what others think! Nice one Richard!

Love the colours on this guy Richard, and agree with Dumay on darkening down the BG as well. Do you have any more room on the right perhaps?

    Richard,

What an interesting looking lizard, and what a great capture of it.

I am entirelly happy with it as posted, given its camouflage it pops pretty well

Fascinating subject. I would agree with with darkening the background a touch.

    Excellent catch.
