Waiting for all four to have good HA's at the same time isnt something you can tell them to do, so Im happy I managed at least three. The youngster top left wasnt playing game. I focussed on the water in the middle of all four, to have them all in the DOF range. Cleaned up a few dirty spots on the water. Taken early morning at the University of Pretoria a few weeks back. These are young Egyptian geese.

But does it beat a full house? Sorry could not help myself. Nice shot, like the reflections and they look very content. Lower angle would have been nice. The drop off the back beak is nice.

Good thinking on focusing in between them to get all f them in focus...Great light and nice smooth water.

    Hi,

Love the texture of the water, the reflections, and the drop of water on the beak. The whole picture gives an impression of calm and contentment. Would be even better if the reflection of the top left bird didn't overlap with the bottom left bird's head.

    Stuart,
Three out of four is about as good as possible!
Getting focus on four is exceptional.
Odd looking geese to this North American, thanks for showing these.
