Another very sharp image with a great pose. I like the "high key" effect on this.

This is so nice it might be worth the time to remove the small branches crossing over the bird and the one just behind it's tail.

Nice exposure techs, well exposed with a great looking eye. The contrast of high-key look vs. the range of natural colors balances the frame well. Really like the feather detail and hint of shadows on the body. It is very difficult to get these guys without some distracting background detail. The mage would be stronger without the intersections on the head and body but this is natural environment. One of the better pictures of this species I have seen in a long time thanks for sharing.

Ian, great Greenie shot. I don't mind the little twig in front, because of the strength of the colors and detail of the Greenie.
