Another Gadwall shot...got him against some nice fall BG. I like the details in their plumage a lot.

Gorgeous image! Light, colours, sharpness, detail, pose, BG - it is all there. If anything maybe just a tiny bit more room on the right.

A wonderful image. I like the visible leg that matches the BG colors. TFS.

Lovely capture, maybe a little tight in the frame on right hand side. Great bg.

The colors and the details are simply stunning Kaustubh. How do you do it every time? Oh that's right. Great skill and a great eye.

Boy is that pretty. Love the pastel look. I think I would like to see just a wee bit of contrast on the head. Super gorgeous.

I'm a big fan of Gadwalls. Like the colors, posture, and sweet light. Looks like you've found one heck of a duck pond!

Very nice and I am a fan of these ducks also.
Very underrated and watching them churn and dive is pretty cool.

That is one beautiful duck, pose, BKGR, and photograph. The raised, alert head with the perfect head angle is superb. Maybe a bit more sharpening on the feathers of the face.

    Kaustubh:

A beautiful duck, your trademark shooting angle, sharp, well exposed.

I did tinker with the contrast on the head to sharpen it a sliver as Artie suggested, and I think it makes for a small but appreciable improvement.

    Well done

    Cheers

Hey Kaus, whats there not to like here. Your customary low angle, fine feather and plumage detail, sharp, and the pastel colours of the BG puts this on another level. Very well captured
