    had hard time thinking if the bird in upper frame would be nice by rotating a bit and then lift but then based on light angle it was looking odd so i kept it like this and still confused.

    please suggest.

    Mital composition wise second version works for me as this looks like landing pose and has some space at bottom. the focus is perfect and exposure looks fine to me..the only issue I see with the image is we have very little sight of head which does not hold attention of viewer to this one...

    MItal, I like your orig comp better. If anything, I'd move the bird a bit to the right in that.

    nice exposure and love the feet. Nice tail spread. But, I am not a big fan of head-on position with side-light for ducks.

    I like the original post best. Great capture with everything in focus.
