Joe, the landing pose works for me. I would maybe try and lighten the goose a bit more in pp, and maybe move him up in the frame a touch more too.

    Hi Stewart,
This was a blue phase Snow Goose so it isn't pure white. Thus the darker color. What is shown here is very close to how it was. It was photographed in late afternoon light.

    Thanks for your kind comments.

Really like the colors and the BG and that sprawled out pose. Would maybe give a touch more room on the right so wing feels less crowded there. Great to hear the weather allowed for some nice opportunities.

Interesting shot Joe. I actually like the muted lighting. Nice pose. I think it's a bit tight on the right.

Joe, although it's an inmature goose the exposure seems off to me and can be lighter. Late afternoon light with 1/4000s seems underexposed. Ideally, you would want the goose higher up in the frame for composition, but would suggest in this case to crop of the top and the left to make it more balanced. By doing that you might also get rid of the sensor dust spot above the left wing tip. Other than that nice incoming pose.

Lovely pose and I like the BG...Image does look underexposed and also some very visible sharpening halos visible. TFS Joe!
