    Hi,

I just returned from a short trip to Costa Rica. Bird phtography was frustrating because of the constant rain and poor light. But I did manage a few. Here's a humer at Monteverde. I know the tail has motion blur and is oof. But I thought otherwise it wasn't too bad. D7000, 300 f/4 AF-S +1.4TC. 1/333. f/5.6. ISO800.

Richard, I agree. It's a beautiful picture of a beautiful bird. The head is perfect. But, as you point out, the tail appears to have moved. I know how frustrating that can be. The background and lighting are great for this colorful bird.

Even with the blur of the tail, this is a brilliant bird. Have you tried cropping the tail out?
