Greetings. I may have posted this one before... taken a few years ago, thought it fit the theme. From Bolsa Chica:

Michael, It fits the theme well. I like the birds pose and the moment of capture. I might take a slice off the top if it were mine. Peaceful and soothing image.

Michael, I like the concept... almost time freeze as the calm water surface just about to be broken by the tern's dive into the water! Beautiful color and the pose. I too feel like taking a bit off the top if it were mine. Nicely done.

Very cool image, Michael, nice timing and like the peaceful stillness right before impact that you captured. I like the large amount of open space, and good placement of the bird in the lower rt corner. Artie had mentioned in one of his posts, that the four corners can work well for subject placement in some small in the frame shots. I also was thinking about taking off some from the top, but also had an idea for a composite in that top area. The different texture of the water in that area made me think about having a band of reflected sky and clouds blended in there, with a seamless transition. Kind of creating an a bit of visual illusion.

Love this image Michael! Great timing and love the reflection and agree with Denise to take a little off the top to widen out the image a bit.
