This drake came very close and the light was gorgeous. All opinions welcome. Had to save at 80-something(always have to do that for Gadwall). hence some jpg compression artifacts are seen in the BG.

The bow wave and water droplets really make this portrait stand out even more. Nice job.

KD, good angled pose, lovely warm light, and I do like the colours of both the Gadwell and the blues of the water. The droplets add a nice touch.

Ramesh, at some venues here that are frequented by people, Gadwalls come pretty close to the shore. Duck photography is quite difficult in India, I agree. But you guys seem to have a great spot for eye-level raptor photography down there in Bangalore. I'd trade my spots for that any day :-)Oh what awesome light you have here KD. Just love it.
