The weather here in Bosque has been less then ideal. We got here on Monday and havn't been able to get into the refuge as it has been closed due to the recent snows. The temps have also been well below normal. This morning it was -7. we went to another refuge about 20 miles North of Socoro and at least we were able to find Sandhills and Snow Geese. The refuge is supposed to re-open this afternoon , so maybe our luck will change. Not a perfect image , but my first Sandhills, non the less.

Bummer about the poor conditions, I was there late November and had all blue sky days and was not happy about that, but now I'm thinking it's better than what you've currently got. Hope things get better for you.
