    Default This is Spring??

    I took this photo today of a red-breasted nuthatch near one of my feeders. This is what passes for spring up here. :) He looks like he's watching the snow come down - can't tell if he's happy or disgusted. 40D, 500 f/4, 1/200, f/8, ISO 400. I removed a few minor distracting items and cropped a bit off the top. The tree is not vertical so I didn't forget about rotation. Comments are welcome.

    He looks like all of us northern dwellers, watching the sky for signs of spring! Really like the composition on this one, and the snow makes the shot.
