    Some local photgraphers spotted this little one amongest the rocks. It must now understand how Justin Bieber feels with all the cameras around taking pictures. It just went on with its business while we all took its photo. It was an overcast day but finally the sun came out late in the afternoon just in time for this little ones photo experience.

    Hi Jeff
    This bird was very tame, I imagine hundred of images were made. Usually Purple Sandpipers are only seen at a distance at Brittania, this bird was the exception.
    I like the head turn and that you can see a bit of puple color on the bird. Nice image. Bring on the Owls

    Thanks for commenting Paul. My biggest goal this Winter is to get some photo's of Owl's (Hopefully Snowy's). Let the photo hunt begin...

    Nice environmental shot. I feel the bird is a bit lost amongst the rocks and would crop some off right and top. I would clone out specular highlight on tip of bill as well,
