    Default Peaceful Stilt!

Off-late work and travel has been keeping me busy... finally here I am with an image for this week's theme. I had taken this fairly late in the afternoon. The stilt did not seem to be bothered with my presence although it kept its eye open! For processing, I cropped and brought the image into Topaz Adjust and processed with multiple settings - toned, classic and vibrant collection each with localized brush-out and global adjustments. Finally applied a tiny bit of pb oil on the feathers and water. Hope you like it...

Indranil, This has a nice peaceful look to it. I like the pose and the bird. I might take a sliver off the top and sharpen the eye area just a touch. Love the painterly background.

I really like the colors and processing effects in this, Indranil. As long as their legs are, it's surprising that the other one isn't visible, and I guess that's part of the charm of the image.

Love the restful pose, and peaceful simplicity of the composition, Indranil. Nice touch with the processing to give it softness. There is an ever so subtle hint of that sweet afternoon light on the belly and in the catch light which I really like. Agree about cropping some off top and sharpening eye just a bit. Nice work!

Indranil, nice pose and treatment. It has a very peaceful look to it. Agree on sharpening the eye a touch more and a bit off the top. I love these birds...I saw many on the Cuban island of Cayo Guillermo of few years ago.
