    Default Goldfinch

    Hello

I am wondering if the blue background does make this picture boring. I do like the look of the bird though. It would be nice to know what you think.

The picture is taken with Nikon D300 and Nikon 300 mm.

The background is great. The bird is beautiful. Those of us in the US might not look at a bird with the title "Goldfinch". Your goldfinch is very different from ours and I am glad it dod not miss this photo.

A lovely looking bird. I really like the bit of head turn to square up with the sensor and make nice eye contact. I really like habitat in photos but sometimes birds don't cooperate or else they are up in trees like this one. You took advantage of the opportunity, and if you are not satisfied then must keep on the look out.

Nice and sharp. Blue BG is not adding much but still nice. Not crazy about the square crop.
