The ice caps were running low this time of the year. Well, that, and he arrived for the shoot with one tusk. Even more reasons to go back.

    Amboseli, Kenya, early morning.

WOW Kiran, this has a magic feel about it all around..I would like to see the color version to compare.

Kiran, lovely image (didn't Harshad post something similar?). I like the wispy clouds in front of Kili. The image appears to be rather small, but despite that the detail looks pretty good. Elephants and Amboseli are a great mix for b&w, especially on the dusty days.

Love the composition and B&W treatment, very nice, would like to see it a little larger. The clouds enhance this nicely Kiran.

Kiran - comp works well and I like the b&w but would also like to see the color version and bigger.

    Kiran,

Try adding a bit more contrast to the image.

Great setting, just needs a bit more punch and posted bigger to appreciate it, even more.

Very nice. I like the wispy clouds and agree that boosting the contrast would give this image some pop,

    Great scene and mood indeed...
I agree with Steve and Robert - and here's a quick repost to show the effect. Added some LCE and some midtone contrast.
    What do you think, Bhai?
