Canon 40D Question

Just got my 40D on Friday and was checking it out with my lenses today.. I cannot seem to get my 300 f2.8 to manually focus when I am using autofucus.. My 20D would let me manually focus the lens fairly close to correct focus and then when I hit autofocus, it would lock it in.. I think I have tried almost all the custom features, but I apparently have not found the feature that I am looking for. My 100-400 IS lens will let me autofocus and manual focus, but not the 300 f.28. Anyone have a suggestion or cure..??

Hey... I found it.. It was one of my Custom Functions that I had to set..:D

What was the CF? Cancel manual focus? Might help others out there.

Robert:

It was C. Fn IV-1 and set it for #3. It allows manual focus and Autofocus using the AF - ON button.
