    Default Best fill for BLUBB?

After using several other bean-bags, I've finally come to the realization that buying a BLUBB will give me the best solution for my vehicle. On the other hand, I'm not looking forward with manuveuring a bag with 16+ lbs of beans! I have used buckwheat hulls in some other bags and while they are much lighter weight, they seem to crush over time. Does anyone have experience with other fill products like poly beads?

I've used Rice, Beans and Bird Seed. Wal-mart now sells bean bag filling, it's light and not very expensive.
If you travel, pack it empty. You can always find rice or beans to fill it at your destination.
Rice is my favorite but it is heavy.

The BLUBB is the best bean bag you can find. It's been imitated but not duplicated.

Lizard litter. Not the ground shells but the paperish kind.

We use whole (in the shell) black oil sunflower seeds. Cheap, light, and easily found. Dump it out for the birds (and squirrels) when done.

I purchased a large bag of the Wal-Mart bean bag fill... as soon as it, and my new BLUBB arrives, I'll give it a shot. If it holds up great, if not, I'll probably try the subflower seeds.

    Thanks for your help!

I forgot to say: Don't store the BLUBB for a long time with sunflower seeds in it. We did that and after a few months got a nice crop of moths that we're still dealing with.

I'm a fan of buckwheat hulls.
Much lighter than beans or rice.

I've used buckwheat hulls in my Apex low profile bean bag. They work pretty good but they will crush over time and then you have "buckwheat hull dust"

Also, I've learned that you need to tape the fill port (zipper) closed 'cause otherwise the bag leaks... Have you ever had to clean up buckwheat hulls from the back of your car?

I agree. I love the BLUBB. I fill it with rice and it works great. In most of the states in India, rice is the staple food. So it is easier for us. I have no idea about the poly beads.
