    Default Bird nest question....

    Hi all,

    I am in Southern Texas at the moment and yesterday I found a birds nest up here which reminded me of that of the weaver family from the US. It was attached to a branch, nicely woven with an entrance tunnel at the bottom. Could anyone of you tell me of what species this nest could be?

    My guess would be an oriole or a verdin. The oriole nests are usually fairly neat compared to the verdins. Did you get any photos of it.
