    Dan:

Her hairdo reminds me of the "Bride of Frankenstein"

Very effective lighting, sharp well exposed, good BG.

I might consider a small crop from above.

    Charming.

    Cheers

I like the sharpness, hairdo and complimentary BG. Well done Dan!

Dan, your title fits this so well. Sure looks like she has dyed her plumage on her head, and overall, nice and sharp. I like the blues of the water in the wake.

Nice overall, and great to have the raised crest. Good techs. I do wish the subject and reflection, as a whole, were higher in the frame to avoid the bottom being so close to the edge. I also find some parts of the merganser to be close to being oversharpened as posted.

Nice one. Focus is spot on as is the pose. I like the reflection. I might also remove a some from the top.

Love that hair do! I like the way the bird is in the light but I think I would be tempted to lower the brightness just a little bit, I think this would reduce the appearance of slight over sharpening.

Love the colors. The blue water around the bird really catches my eye. Great shot Dan

Another good one Dan. I too, would take some off the top. The raised crest is lovely and I like the blue wake,

Thanks for the comments, I did amp up the brightness and colors for the effect.
They are a great looking little duck, but I should have backed off a bit on the brightness of the photo.
