I think this is a young Wood Duck. Taken this spring near Nashville. I liked the simple high-key look.

Nice shot but to me it looks like it is swimming downhill, I don't know if that is the way they normally set in the water, if it is an optical illusion, or if it is just me but to me it looks wonky.

Thanks the feedback and I heard that from someone else too. I guess I need to look closer next time - thanks for the comments.

Jeff, I also like the high key. I like the way the ripples are clustered around the duck and fade as you go outward. The duck himself is sharp, but I also think a bit of a CW rotation is in order.
