One of my favourite raptors just for the way it hovers and dives for its pray. it was a nice bright morning with blue skies. Hence i tried to do a nice sky background image. Hope this works.

Beautiful image. I love the eye, the overall sharpness, the fanned tail, and the wing position. My only suggestion would be to place the bird higher in the frame given the downward wing position. Well done.

What a sweet flight pose! I might push the brightness up about 1/4 stop and I would mask out the brightest whites. I'd run a little Shadows/Highlights on the darks. I'd run some NR on the underside of the far wing. And I'd selectively sharpen the head a bit. Something like this. Even though it sounds like a lot of changes, I'm trying to preserve a really good image and take it to the next level.

Excellent flight pose! Did you place the catch light in the eye?

    Hello all,

Thanks a lot for the replies. Doug thanks a ton. I did not run the NR on the far wing thinking it might spoil something. but now i realize it would have been good. Thanks a lot. Gary its is a natural catch light. i did not place it. Thanks again guys

Stunning flight shot. I'd place him slightly higher in the frame.

    Great in flight pose.
Doug's repost sharpens it up, but I agree, a bit higher in the frame would be nice.

Ramesh, the flight angle and wing position makes this image work so well. Your repost has turned out well with the slight tweaks from the suggestions above. Well done.
