    Hello everyone. Well while out the other checking out what ducks where around our local lake. I spotted 5 of these guys. This species is a first for me so I was very thrilled to ba able to photograph them. Here is one from my first encounter.
    C&C welcomed and encouraged.
    Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 200-400 w/1.4 tc, Exposure - 1/1000, Aperture - F8, ISO - 320, Focal Length - 840mm, Metering - Multi Segment, Manual.

    Congrats on getting a new one. I hope to see these beautiful birds someday as well.

    Excellent exposure, head angle, like the foot up and visible, good shooting angle.

    I believe it needs a sliver of CCW rotation, and might consider a small crop from below.

    Look forward to more form this encounter.

    Great pose even has a slight head turn, good techs, I would agree however a slight CCW turn is required.
