    Default Kitty Cat Nap

Today, I worked on a new photo of my cat, Blackie, for the theme(Well, actually an old photo, but one that I hadn't processed before). I wanted a light, dreamy feel, so I chose my textures and processing accordingly. I replaced the original BG with white, and used four of my own textures and one bokeh texture from Shadowhouse. I also applied two blur overlays and the Render Clouds filter.

Very nice. You nailed light and dreamy. I love what you did with the textures and how the cat blends right into them. The sharp whiskers are a great contrast to the rest of the image.

Lovely, Christopher. She looks like you could snuggle right in with her

Why did you name a calico cat "Blackie"???

Thanks Dennis, Maureen, and Jay. I appreciate your comments.

Maureen, she is actually is a "tiger cat" not a calico, and she is rather dark colored, which is why I named Blackie. This image isn't the most accurate depiction of her color because of my processing. This photo shows what her color is really like.

I like cats but don't know much about them, obviously It's a beautiful cat at any rate, and your image is outstanding.

Christopher, I've missed your images and your texturing. Beautiful, soft and delicate. It is a very peaceful look!

Light and dreamy it is! And furry too. How can anyone not like a warm cat pic like this?
