    I really liked the landing pose captured as it really lite up the iridescent feathers these are cute
    little ducks.

    Beautiful splash down captured. These are hard ducks to get close to on Long Island. Love the big pink feet.

    The colors on the head and action are great. These are fantastic little ducks, and as Grace mentioned for her local, they are very hard to get close to in Michigan as well.

    In a perfect world, I wish he was rotated a bit more towards us so that the wings would be less end on and display better.

    Still, a very cool picture.

    Love it James! That puffed up chest and cheeky look on the face just about says it all - a perfect landing. Great action and control of the whites.

    James, excellent exposure and that pose. unique to this duck...their landing is so interesting to watch( and watch is all I have done as they are always far out here :-) Is this full frame? If you have space around, it will be better I think. Wishing for a tad higher SS...they are quite fast.

    I love this image. the action and as you said the colours have enhanced the cuteness of this already cute bird a lot. superb action.
