You always think of the greatest titles. Sweet image of this pretty female. I think it needs a tiny bit of ccw (even if it's an illusion.) I also do not think that the stray feather enhances the image and I'd like a bit less on the bottom. That being said, I really like the image alot.

Ditto Grace times 3. The extra feather would have been a nice touch if it had been sharp.... Where?

Lovely preening pose and the two feathers add. I would go with less space on the bottom and more on the top. Need a CCW rotation of about 1-2 degrees!

Lovely shot I would also rotate CCW a little and place the duck more bottom left, I don't mind the stray feather, the duck appears to be looking at it.

Cheryl, I like this one a lot. I agree on the rotation and bit more off the bottom. Perfect choice on DOF. I actually like stray feather.

Love the title and the photo. I personally like the feather. Of course in a perfect world having it on the same plane and sharp would be nice. I would like to see less space on the bottom and more on the top if you have it.

I just love seeing posts like this with different behaviors!!!! You go GF!

I agree with rotation, and I like Dumay's crop suggestion. I absolutely love the stray feather, even if it is OOF, and would definitely keep it there. Yes, great title!

Thanks and I'm glad I've got some backing for my feather. I to wish it were sharp but i think it completes the story being there. I will change the crop as well I was trying to not have to remove more oof birds this way.

Cheryl, nice monent and good title. Low angle is nice and so is the exposure. Agree about having the duck a little lower in the frame. very nice details.

    species?

Thanks Kaustubh. I'm not sure but I think it is a female redhead? She was with other redheads and ringnecked ducks. Maybe someone can confirm my ID.

Thanks Dumay and others for the suggestions. I re -did the image removing the oof ducks up top and moved the crop I also rotated as suggested. I like it better.
