Image of a Red kite taken at Gigrin Farm in Wales were they feed the local wild Red Kite population. If you get the chance to visit Wales its certainly worth a visit.

Hi John, Stunning image. A superb action image and a great piece of Bird Art as well. Just love those curved wing tips they add a real feeing of movement.
Your practice with the flying captives has paid off in spades. Congrats!

Magnificent image !! Love the look and the detail of the feathers, especially on the back. Blue sky is not my favourite background, but somehow this is complimentary in this image ... very very well done !!
This is just stunning. Love the pose, and the sharpness. The wingtips are beautiful as is the head turn. If I were fortunate to have an image like this in my portfolio, I'd see what it would look like with the background toned just just a bit. Beautiful capture!
Wonderful image having been to Gigrin Farm I know how hard it is to get a good image even thou there are hundreds of these birds when they feed well done John.
Superb shot, love the wings and the head position. Must pay a visit pretty soon myself.
(These birds are not captive, they are wild and roam as they wish. The farmer puts food out each day and they come and go as they please.)
