    Taken last week. Not as sharp as I would have liked, but I was glad to get the shot.

    Shows the hunting style of this bird in it's environ very well.
    Some great light to compliment it too :)

    Too bad about the less than perfect focus

    Focus looks good to me, it's the fine detail that seems lacking...perhaps a large crop? Good hunting pose (although I would have loved the wings raised even higher), and nice grassy habitat. I'd deepen the blacks on the tail ans face just for a bit of added punch.

    Daniel, it was a significant crop and the original RAW file is not sharp, this was sharpened using NIK. Here is a repost.
