    Hi
Made this image of the buffy fish owl in near complete darkness with a small torch used to lit the bird from the side. Would love your thoughts.
Image details; 1dm4 fl 420mm f4 1/3s EV-1.3 ISO 3200 MLU tripod LED torch from the bird's left

The side lighting is fabulous and eliminates that full-frontal flashlight look that many nighttime owl images suffer from. You nailed your focus on the eye, and overall image sharpness is impressive considering the SS. Maybe just a little tight at the bottom of the frame.

Fabulous use of light here. Quite sharp for that low shutter speed.

Powerful image - very interesting technique. Sharp and makes me not want to be a nocturnal animal hunted by this bird.

I like the side lighting, a different look and you got this one sharp. Well done especially with these techs. TFS

Very well thought out...I love the sidelighting too, makes for a mysterious look. Just tight at bottom and wouldn't mind a tad more canvas at right. Super job!!

A unique, well thought, and strong image. Very well done. I also would prefer a bit more room on bottom and right. Thanks for posting.
