These two Stink Bugs (Cosmopepla lintneriana) were copulating on a Mullien plant. (There are 250 species of stink bugs in North America.) 5D II, MP-E 65 mm, 1/80, f/16, ISO 400, MT24-EX macro twin flash (diffused), hand held. I did some NR on the background and OOF portions of the plant. All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Awesome Steve! You even made these guys look better than they actually are! Maybe it's our variety.....but they never looked this good! Fantastic use of the flash and you are certainly lethal with that lens.

Well captured, very good sharpness and details within dof. Nicely done.

Not a big fan of the positioning here with the dark right side - I think it'd prefer more of a straight over the top position - but wow...what clarity and detail! Yes, if you can make a stink bug look good, you know you're on to something...

Hi Steve, great details and light already mentioned. I would take some off the top to get more focus on those wonderful bugs.

A ton of detail and really nice to see the texture on these little bugs. Water drops are a very nice touch as well. I am with Jules on the right side but all that detail and dof makes it a big time shot.

Hi Steve, the bugs themselves look awesome....super clear and those water drops really add a lot! I agree with Jules that the dark right side is a bit strong but I think you should be able to lighten it up enough to take away that distraction. Overall a really nice shot!
