I like the pose too. And your crop. I think I would like the whole image a little brighter, and the bright line along the top darkened to be closer to the overall BG.
Like this vertical view and action shot. What a great pose the picture is interesting and unique. Assume this was HH, image it a bit soft try and get the shutter speed up, make sure you position is sturdy, and consider a tripod. Might try to add contrast or levels to give additional texture to the body. You sure had a great time at Bosque, be there next week. Thanks for sharing, show us more.
Thanks, Jeff and Alan. This was actually one of the few I took on the tripod. I'll work on the sharpening a bit and see if I can make it a bit better. I see what you mean about that bright line, Alan. I hadn't really noticed it. I'll try blending it in and see how it looks. You'll have a great time at the Bosque, Jeff... I guess you caught the fever :) I look forward to seeing what you bring back.
Considering how many BPN'ers I saw that week, I'm surprised I haven't seen many more images here.
