Has anyone combined the newer Canon 2x teleconverter with Canon's 300mm f4 lens? If so, are there sample images? I'd be especially interested in efforts which employed a tripod.

Hey Ron ,, Take a look at Greg lasley nature photograthy website..he uses the 300f4+2x for many of the photos...
