Nice basic COMP and I like the oof stuff in the BKGR. If it were mine, I would crop out the three seed pods (???) on the left edge, get rid of the two blackish VERT lines on the right frame edge, and expand the canvas a bit on the right. At 1/000 sec. the near wing is neither sharp nor blurred... Either would have been better. The bird esp. looks a bit washed out and lastly, with having the bird facing slightly away from you is less than ideal.

    later and love, artie

I like the wide crop and setting but agree with Artie's observations regarding angle and shutter speed.

Love the upper pose. I wish for a tighter crop or fame. The colors and light are very nice.

Thx to all for your comments, especially concerning the shutterspeed and wing blur, I hadn't really thought much about that, but makes good sense. Either freeze it or blurr to show motion.
