Lovely details, the complimentary colors and BG work really well together. Why f4, I think you could have gone f8 or f9 and had more DOF still with sufficient SS...Do you know what roll those long claws on the back toes play?

You are right Dumay i was photographing a bird in the shade of a tree in low lighting and we suddenly cam out in the light and in a hurry i just missed the settings . I will surely keep in mind for the next time and will not repeat this mistake .

A lovely portrait captured here! I love the background, detail and pose of the feathers. Not sure, but it looks like a small dust spot under the tail.

A great image, very well captured!

    Wonderful image ,
A f8 may have worked amazing on this to get the hind nails on the legs which would have poped out amazingly.
    love the colors

Wonderful capture Ram...the BG compliments the bird in the image...Agree about better DOF could have made it even better

Lovely shot - you may wish to consider cloning the poop patches but I love the pose, and those claws have got me curious too.

Ram, I like the stately pose, together with the wind swept plumage. Good complimentary colours between bird and BG, and I would maybe tone down the sharpening a touch.

I like the colors in the image. The wind makes the picture improves. It often goes quickly when photographing birds, as it is not easy to remember everything. I'm not good at thinking on the AP. Maybe a little too much sharpness.

I really like these wind shots. They show off the feather details so well. Nice and sharp and pose and bg are spot on. It seems there is always something to learn. Good for you.

Superb image!! Great pose, really like the fluffed up feathers, great background, and nice detail. Agree on removing the poop.
    Well done.

Lovely little bird shown very nicely Ram. Nice complementary colour balance, sharpness (maybe a tad too sharp) and wind action to add some drama.
